Vegan Walnut Pate

So I got home late last night from our trip and didn't have the items I needed to begin my juice cleanse, so I'm starting that tomorrow. I decided to eat light and mostly raw today to help my body adjust after eating bad foods at Disney. Ha ha

I didn't have much in the house so I decided to whip up a nut pate and came up with this creation. Basically, I just threw ingredients in the food processor until it tasted right! Which means that my measurements might be off, but this is pretty close and feel free to experiment! Also, I'm not sure about some of the ingredients but I think this pate can be considered raw as well because I used raw and untoasted nuts ( I just don't know about the process to make the hemp oil, if that is heated).

2 Cups of Walnuts
1/2 Cup of Almonds
1/3 Cup of Hemp Oil
1 Small Onion
3 Tablespoons of Ume Plum Vinegar
1 1/2 Tablespoons of  Nama Shoyu or soy sauce
2 small garlic cloves or 1 1/2 Tablespoons of Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon each of Oregano and Thyme (or whatever herbs/seasonings you would like to add)
Sea Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Give the food processor a whirl until all ingredients are blended together and it becomes a creamy like pate. I dipped raw broccoli, carrots and cauliflower into the pate for a light lunch. You could also serve it as spread with pita or flatbread crackers. Enjoy!
